Hello,
Very much in admiration of the work that you do having read up a bit on it.
A very tricky one but just in case. My white gold diamond engagement ring fell off in the water while I was doing an inflatable obstacle course in the Lagoon in Rosscarbery a few weeks ago. We are almost 10 years married and it's incredibly sentimental.
Is it a lost cause being under water or might a search be possible for it?
Would be thrilled to give a really generous reward if found. Yours gratefully, Marquise

Hi Marquise. I hope one of the members in the Cork area replies. I'm too far away tbh (3 hrs drive). Wait and see. I know the lagoon as I've been on it. Is it a deep or shallow spot where it was lost? Best of luck.

I am in the same boat, 3+ hours away , would be interested to know the depth of water, if its under 1.4 m you might get it wading any deeper than 1.6 and its scuba, you will also need permission from the park , and as tight a search area as possible.

I'll actually be down in Cork working next week so could possibly help but it would depend on the depth of the water. I have the Deus 2 but no water proof headphones so if it is anyway deep I'd be useless. If it can be waded and permission has been got I could possibly give a hand.

As far as I know the lagoon is about 4ft deep (just over 1.1m) all over.

Hí, apologies for only seeing these replied today. I would be really grateful for you to give it a go if possible? And happy to recoup your costs. I'll ask the Lagoon people if they might allow the search, and will post again as soon as they reply. Also happy for admin to pass on my details if appropriate to facilitate the search. Thanks so much for replying.

Payter I just re-réad your message about underwatr headphones and where the obstacle course first starts I think it's slightly more than 4 foot deep. I think it probably would have to be an underwater search unfortunately rather than just wading as I am 5 ft 4 and couldn't stand in the area at the first point of obstacle course. I lost it shortly after that. When any further information from the Lagoon owner on this I'll post again but I think I would be waiting your time if it was only the wadable areas.

Update: Management at the Lagoon are happy to let us search as long as it's outside of activity centre opening hours. He said it is 5 - 6 metres deep where it was lost and would need a "diving" metal detector. If anyone is interested/available please do let me know. Many thanks.

I definitely wouldn't be equipped for that anyway. Hopefully someone here helps out.
