Hi there, I lost my engagement ring on Morriscastle beach a couple of weeks ago. It came off in the sea approx 500m dowm to the right of the public entrance (opposite entrance to Hammels holiday Park). I know there's little chance of it showing up but just in case someone does find it please please get in touch 🙏

Can you remember if it was high or low tide when you lost it , if you have the time of day and the date we can look up the tide , it would also be a good idea to pull up google maps and put a pin on the area nearest where you lost it , you can then share the image with whoever heads out to look for it , also if you had the depth of water you were in , all information is good

Hey All,
I spoke with this lady after it was initially lost, unfortunately it was lost at the back of a sandbank and we've had some harsh surf on the beach since. Ive been to the area 4 times now at low water and cannot gain access to the area it was lost.
Location is 4 ringbouys south of the main morriscastle beach gap inclusive of ringbouy at the main gap.
Hopefully it will wash up, would love to get this back to the owner. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi zziplex , well done for looking,
had a look at the map and it looks like its too far to carry scuba Gear,
if there is someplace near that you can drive to let me know it might be worth a look.I would need to be within about 100m of the water , gear is heavy.

Hamells park (private) is the nearest entrance, I'm sure entry could be arranged with the original poster or park management. |

I'm not far from Morriscastle and usually detect that beach. I usually go north of the entrance but can spend some time on the southside, if you want to pm me I should be on the beach over the next few days no bother.
