Hey guys, Hoping for some help. I went swimming around the second car park at Portmarnock Beach (Second as in closer to Baldoyle). I forgot to take my ring off. Its not engraved it is a 4mm 18K Gold Wedding Band. Its pretty standard other that their is indented ridges at the top and bottom. I can supply photos. Reward - What I paid for it €140 Photos of ring here

Hi Philipbegg1 , sorry to hare you lost your ring, do you know if it was in the water or on the sand , above low water mark, I will send you a pm , it would be helpful if you could meet there as the beach is quite large and the smaller you can make the search area the better your chances of getting your ring back ,

Hey Philip, I'm not far away and have some availability this week as well. Hopefully zerovis will find it but let us know if you need extra help, but like zerovis said, it would be good to know if it was at low or high tide and exact part of the beach. Better if you were there at least at the start. Its surprisingly easy to miss a ring given to sheer size of the beach.

Hey Dave,
I spoke to zerovis on the phone last night, I gave him coordinates of where we were and where I think I lost it. I'll pm you the details. I lost it nearly exactly at 1.45pm yesterday and the tide was relatively in. As I mentioned to Dave I am not familiar with the beach too well anymore but I know the tide does go out quite far.
I understand from speaking to zerovis you guys enjoy a hunt so the more people looking the better chance. I'll send you on everything I sent him and if you want to help let me know I am happy to meet you or anyone else out there any evening the tide is right.
Phil

Thanks for going out again, if you need me to meet you out on your next trip to help narrow the search area further let me know! I'm going off my location of where we set our towel etc. There were people in the water to the right of me, so I might have went to the sea slightly left to where I got changed (north direction) to avoid. It was already a loose ring so I presume it came off straight away before I deviated.
Thanks again,
Phil
