Hi All I had a login here before but didn’t keep it up and now can’t remember the details so signed up again. I’ve been detecting properly 2-3 years though I’ve owned a detector about 15 years. I never did it properly when I got my first bounty Hunter iv back then. Now I have an ace 250 and 400i and a simplex+. I also have a nocta mini hoard brand new in a box ready for the young fella when he turns 7 in a few weeks! Anyway, I’m in East Cork and surrounded by loadsa land but don’t know any of the local farmers.. Gonna be trying to make connections soon as I haven’t been out in months and with this lockdown potentially lasting a good few weeks I’ll need to get out! Happy hunting everyone and happy new year!

There you go detecnician!! You’ve got the background for continuing where you left off. No shortage of gear there!! And a young fella to help carry that gear and the finds!! Sounds like you’ll be very active in the middle of the year when you get started back. So don’t delay, those fields won’t detect themselves!! Try the nearest farmer and ask nicely. it’s a learning curve.
