Hi Fellow detectorists. I am from Shannon, Clare. Worked in England for many years where my hobby was metal detecting.completely legit there and covered by an Act of Parliament known as The Treasure Act. All you need is landowners permission and away you go. What a shock when I came back home some time ago to find it banned.
A huge thanks to the people who created this forum. I finally believe there is hope to repeal this crazy law which is reminiscent of what you'd expect in a communist country where the state controls everything.
