Hi all,
I would be very grateful indeed for help in locating a ring I lost earlier today on Sat May 22nd, I think, while fencing in chickens at our farm in the Dublin Mountains (D 16). It is a gold ring with a diamond cluster, and has been in my family for a very long time. I've worn it everyday for 18 years and never known it to fall from my finger. We have combed the area on hands and knees, and St Anthony is on standby. We will go out again at dusk with a torch. There are no pipes or electrical wires - it's just rushy, thistly pasture, and the likely area is about 100 sq m. I'd be so overjoyed to find it again, and grateful for whatever assistance your community might be able to provide.

Jugins, it's ok. There's no risk to legislation / national monuments. There are no red dots in the area where I think I lost the ring.

I'm free all day Wednesday if its any good to you. I assume there are a few pieces of metal etc around that area, but I can be up there from around 9, 9:30 on Wednesday and give it a good few hours.

No Joy,well I gave it my best shot,I went over a lot of the area twice most of the signals were deep Iron.I even checked these with pin pointer on the surface just in case.The path to the area was also detected but no luck.The ring may have been lost elsewhere, lets hope it turns up.

At least you gave it a good shot, Don't give up , you may have to hunt the same area 3 or 4 times to get it esp if its an area bigger than 20 sq meters ,

I had a go myself today. I spent about 2 hours, and I was very methodical. Unfortunately it didn't turn up, but a lovely lady and a lovely place, so It was well worth trying. Hopefully it will turn up shorty.

I had a go myself today. I spent about 2 hours, and I was very methodical. Unfortunately it didn't turn up, but a lovely lady and a lovely place, so It was well worth trying. Hopefully it will turn up shorty. Good stuff Norway lovely there alright. The lady was back tracking so may have been lost elsewhere. It would be great if it turns up.
