Hi,
I lost a gold ring with the initials of “ER” on the in the Burrow Beach area Sutton, Dublin. It was to the right of the main entrance. It was in about knee to hip heigh depth water, and just about 2 meters to the right of the life ring box. It was lost on the 27th of may, so should not be to imbedded in the sand. If anything found please contact 0894067657

After 3 hours of continues searching and a 100 iffy, crap, small, large, deep, shallow and good signals... The gold ring is still in it s resting place. A lot of digging, and a lot of iron that could mask the signal, so I had to dig pretty much every little squeaker. Found 5 coins, and something that I m using electrolytes on at the moment. Rang like silver, but crusted, so probably nothing. Loads of bullets and lead there too...

Ahh that's a shame but a good effort well done for taking the time out to find it maybe the owner made a mistake about where they lost it. I wonder how sure they were about the exact area?

The ring has been found. In the dry sand area to the right of the location I was given. (Not knee deep in water at middle tide, 6 meter to the left of a pile of rocks) but there you go....I can post the video now with details that I was given

Do you know if it was found by a detector?

The main thing is the ring was found and they had a response from you lads … what more could they ask for? A good deed was done! It would be great if any of you lads who offer to respond to requests for help ask the person would they mind sending an email expressing their thanks to the forum email address irishmetaldetecting@gmail.com

Just want to say thanks to everyone in contact with me. Especially to Norway digger for putting the effort in going out to try his best. And to Eddy Mangan who was in contact with me to see if I had any luck finding it. Best of luck with all the following finds. Thanks for all the help
