SOLD. Bought by member Bonbon. I shed a tear for the Explorer. Here's hoping my Equinox doesn't decide to go belly-up cos the SE Pro was as good as it. Best of luck to Bonbon on his purchase. A real nice lad. Reluctantly, I've decided to chance an upgrade and that means out with the old, in with the more recent new. This machine has embarrassed the best machines at times. And it's new owner will see why quite soon. It is equally at home on farmland or on the beach. In fact, one programme I have set on it can be used on both sites without need to change. It's an Explorer SE Pro, Full Band Spectrum (FBS) meaning it scans all the frequencies. With steady slow swings, this machine misses very little, big and especially small targets are equally found. From the photos below, you'll see what the unit comprises: the detector, control panel cover, 11 inch Pro coil & skid plate, 1 x rechargeable battery pack c/w charger, 1 x battery pack which can take either 8 AA batteries or equivalent rechargeable batteries. Both packs give up to 6 hours of constant detecting and even then I've never detected past 5 hrs myself, so it could well go for longer. Also included is a set of volume-adjustable headphones. Asking price €400 (preferably cash & collect) . i.postimg.cc/KcCsBMGY/20200315-125808.jpgi.postimg.cc/XqBdnqmH/20200315-125830.jpgi.postimg.cc/8zSKngrQ/20200315-125854.jpgi.postimg.cc/SQnvnrp5/20200315-125943.jpgi.postimg.cc/4nCtyZTJ/20200315-130047.jpgi.postimg.cc/FscCZHzV/20200315-130122.jpgAll I'll say is, no fighting over it lads. It'll give years of amazing detecting and is a sure way to beat the COVID19 blues.

if it's not a secret which metal detector are you using now? Paddy just closes his eyes, spins around, counts ten steps and digs a hole with his best silver spoon. I've seen him !!

DTT, don't be telling everyone my secrets! They'll all be trying it out.
