Hiya. I'm only starting out and have been advised on the garrett Euro Ace. Which model is it of the euro Ace? And what's it like on wet sand? I heard some negative reviews but also I have been watching a guy on YouTube educating people on using garretts on wet sand.
Kind regards,
Bino

Stick with the YouTube and other users advice. Only way a lot of us learned how to get the best out of our machines, Bino. When you do get sorted, take a few days detecting near you to get used to different tones and signals, trying out the various discrimination settings, etc. There's an old saying, "If in doubt, dig it out".

Nice one Paddy, thanks for the tips. I just hope I don't find four brass handles on my first dig in a rectangular motif 😘😘😘

And sure if you do, you'll have found something even the most expensive md's would find.

I don't think that the garrett is suitable for wet sand from all the comments Iv heard.Still though there may well be a setting that makes it work.

I've a ace 250 and is an absolute disaster in the wet sand . False signals everywhere ! Soon as you back up to the towel line she shines .
